Evelyn Ersanilli

Evelyn Ersanilli is a senior researcher at the department of Political Science at the University of Amsterdam.
In 2017 she received a Starting Grant from the European Research Council for the RIGHTS project (2018-2023) which will examine why and how origin countries negotiate over the rights of their low skilled workers abroad, and the responses of destination countries.
Evelyn has a PhD in Sociology from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and an MSc in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences from Utrecht University. She previously worked at the WZB Berlin Social Science Research Centre, the International Migration Institute at the University of Oxford and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
Her research interests are migrant rights, immigrant integration, citizenship, and migrant families.
