Mohamed Berriane
Senior Professor, Mohammed V University of Rabat
Mohamed Berriane is a Geographer and a Senior Professor at the Mohammed V University of Rabat. He is also Co-Director of the ‘Laboratoire Mixte International MediTer’ (IRD - France) and a member of the Hassan II Academy of Sciences and Techniques.
His research interests include local and regional development issues, and the impact of tourism and Moroccans’ international emigration on their regions of origin. Mr. Berriane published 162 titles and he is the co-editor of the “Atlas de la emigración marroquí en España” (Atlas of Moroccan Migration to Spain) for which he also received several scientific awards.
