Angèle Mendy

Angèle Flora Mendy is a lecturer in Sociology of health and migration at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. She is previously Visiting Research Fellow at the IMI. She holds a Ph.D. in social sciences, a MAS in Globalization and social regulation from the University of Lausanne, and a DEA (Post-graduate research degree) in Sociology of health from the University of Saint Louis, Senegal. Her research area focuses on the international migration of health professionals in relation to health policies and the functioning of health systems in developing countries. Her current works investigate the international migration and the trajectories of African health workers in Europe and within the African health systems.
