I am a Development Economist, an Assistant Professor at the University of Western Australia and a Research Fellow at IZA. My research focuses on the links between migration and development, specifically the determinants and impacts of international migration. I have a PhD in Economics from the University of Nottingham during which time I held a Royal Economic Society Junior Fellowship. Prior to joining UWA, I worked as a Research Officer at the International Migration Institute at the University of Oxford, where I held a William Golding Fellowship at Brasenose College.
